We have committed our resources to create this website and non-profit organization, which serves to enhance the quality of the law school community and the community in Florida as well. Our mission is to collaborate with students in much the same way students already collaborate with each other on law campuses all over the country. However, with the added benefit of the internet, the information can be disseminated more evenly throughout the student body. Our hope is this will level the playing field for those who might have fewer resources to gather information and a consequently weaker competitive advantage.

First of all, you must be a student of the and possess at email with the suffix @. If you have such an address, please register for an account. Once you submit your registration information, you will receive a confirmation email that will contain a link which you must click.

JDDesktop.com restricts access to students for a number of reasons. Because our outlines and class notes are organized by professors and the classes which they teach, the site serves almost no purpose to those students or persons outside the school. Likewise, it is logical to keep the information which your tuition dollars pay for restricted to you.

This could be happening for a number of reasons. It is perhaps due to the fact that you registered for an account but did not confirm it. When you first register, you receive an email from JDDesktop.com which asks you to click a link to confirm your email address. If you never received such an email, click here to have the confirmation email re-sent.

In the alternative, your account was de-activated by the webmaster of JDDesktop.com. This may have happened if you vexatiously abused the system by, for example, breaching the Terms of Use, uploading inappropriate files, filing false reports, or providing false registration information.

You must obtain privileges to download the free outlines. This is easily done -- by attempting to access a "Free Download", you will see a list of tasks, one of which must be completed to grant your account with access. Typically, free download privileges are obtained by completing a one-time process such as writing a professor and class review, inviting friends, or uploading an outline.
